The Connecticut Parent Information and Resource Center serves to help parents navigate their child's valuable learning years from birth to high school and beyond. The site provides Connecticut parents with resources on a range of topics and helps facilitate access to vital services. CT PIRC also supports better education by fostering collaboration - not only between parents and schools but also among community agencies, faith-based organizations, and colleges and universities.
This website, sponsored by the State of Connecticut, provides a variety of resources and information for parents, foster parents, and soon-to-be parents.
Groton Youth and Family Services provides up to three months of free counseling for students of Groton Public Schools. They will meet with your child in town or in a private session at school during the school day. If you and your child's counselor determine that your child would benefit from continued counseling after the three-month period, they will assist you in finding a therapist who best fits your needs.
NASP has a Families section that provides information and resources for mental health and behavioral issues relating to school-aged children.
