Nutrition Basics

Dear SBB Families,

Students are loving the fresh fruit selections at lunch- bananas, strawberries, pears and apples to name a few. Students are eating whole grain breads and baked foods are replacing fried foods. We are happy to report that our district continues to make every effort to improve the nutritional content of our school lunches. Please encourage your children to make healthy food choices at home. Also, be mindful of the snacks that children bring to school- Thanks, Mrs. Porter
