Article III: Membership & Dues
Membership in this organization shall be made available without regard to race, color, creed, or national origin, nor in conflict with the provisions of Groton Public Schools.
Membership in this organization shall be open to all persons interested in the objectives of the Fitch Athletic Booster Club. Membership may fall into two classifications, Active Boosters and Patrons.
- Active Boosters- Active Boosters shall consist of those persons who by paying annual dues as provided in the bylaws shall hold their membership status. An Active Booster shall be entitled to one vote on each matter submitted to the membership for a vote. An Active Booster is encouraged to attend all monthly meetings.
- Patrons- Patrons shall consist of those persons sympathetic to the objectives of the organization. Patrons shall not be considered voting members of the organization, but may contribute and participate in the work of the organization and attend all monthly meetings. A Patron may become an Active Booster by attending two club meetings or activities and paying their annual dues.
Annual dues shall be determined by vote of the Active Boosters on recommendation of the Executive Board at the annual meeting.
Upon payment of annual dues, a person will have membership in the organization for one year.
