All grade 3 through grade 5 students participate in a "mini-special" called Maker Studio. Maker studio classes include creative projects using 3D Printing and CAD technologies, electronic components, circuits, invention kits, Makey-Makey microcontrollers, as well as Scratch coding, drone and robotic challenges.
The goal of Maker Studio is to provide students access to cutting edge technology tools and unleash student creativity using these tools. Another typical outcome of these classes is that students realize learning can be fun, A LOT of fun! We believe all students are creative and capable of being creators and inventors.
Students in grades K-2 have access to these tools through their robotics and computer science classes.
