Each year, Groton Public Schools invites employees to contribute to the United Way of Southeastern Connecticut during a week-long giving campaign in early December. This year we've gone virtual and all you need to know to make a pledge or learn more about the United Way is below.

How to Access the GPS United Way E-Pledge Site:

  1. Click on or type into your web browser  https://community.uwsect.org/Begin.jsp
  2. Enter your User ID (This is your GPS Email Address.)
  3. Click on ‘Forget User ID or Password?’
  4. Fill in the fields (Your User ID and Email Address are your GPS Email) and Enter the Code Shown
  5. Click ‘Email My Information’
  6. You should receive an email with a Password Reset Link from info@uwsect.org
  7. Follow the link in that email to Reset Your Password
    • Once you enter your new password click ‘Continue’; You should now be logged into the Campaign E-Pledge System
    • Click on ‘Donate’ in the top right corner if you’d like to make a pledge; You can make a pledge to contribute through a fixed, reoccurring payroll deduction or make a one-time credit card payment. Employees can request to be billed by the United Way if they prefer.

  8. Once you make a donation you'll receive a confirmation from the United Way.  Those who chose 'Payroll Deduction' will also be sent an internal email requesting that you complete a Google Form authorizing your deduction.

All employees who would like to make a donation for 2021 should make an E-Pledge.

Your 2020 payroll deduction will not carry over automatically.
